ENYINNA EZEBUIRO

A logo I created for a relative and her hair-braiding and beauty business.

She wished to have a unique trademark, and I wanted it to be a powerful and 'natural', calm looking design to go well with the beauty and natural hair theme.

​

I chose a golden/ green/ brown and red colour palette to represent an African vibe more effectively; as braids are consistent and prevalent in African culture.

 

A silhouette of a black woman's face was illustrated by myself, to further connect and reach with the main target audience of the business. The 'B' is also connected and integrated into the hair to add an interesting layer to the design, whilst keeping the rest of the text more simple.

Finally I decided to create a realistic looking texture onto the design, in order to improve the aesthetics, complement the Afro-Caribbean theme more, and do something more distinctive than other logo designs of this type do.
